Our fund raiser for 2010 was a Golf Outing that netted over $8000.
An Apple Sale in the Fall nets about $1400.
Family Safety programs provide a day of bike obstacle courses, bike repairs and free bike helmets to childen in need of the head gear. We also gave away a girl and boy bike & 90 bike helmets.
Fishing Derby in the Spring gave 90 children a day of fishing.
Kids on the Block puppets go into elementary schools to educate kids on the diversity of childen.
The Childhood Cancer Campaign received over $12,000 from 2 fund raisers. $6,000 going to a 9 year old in the community suffering bone cancer. The balance to the International Optimist Childhood Cancer Campaign.
Magic Hug Squares is another ongoing project in which our club is involved. 12 inches squares are knitted or crocheted and wrapped around a Beanie Baby. These are delivered to 8 Hospitals in our area. We have delivered over 7000 hugs.
Future Project is a Playscape added to a park in White Lake.
